Great Service. I collected a medium sized sample for a study on romantic relationships. Since my eligibility criteria were rather restrictive, I did not expect to get that many participants from SC. It worked out really well regardless and the quality of the data was better than that of data collected through Facebook (i.e. the ratio of complete vs. incomplete answers was twice as large). Slight drawback will probably be the very selective sample you get from using research exchange platforms. But considering the selection bias associated with recruiting online, academics (or so-called WEIRD people) are more likely to respond to free online studies anyway. Regardless, a quick way to get data of decent quality. So overall, I can only give out a straight-forward recommendation.

Life saver! Survey Circle has been the best tool to share my survey and recruit participants for my doctoral research where it helped me to collect most of the responses on a very low budget. It is trustworthy, reliable, valid, easy, accurate, transparent, with a super responsive team. However, it is recommeneded that Survey Circle extend its capacity and representation in the middle east and Arab countries as I believe it will have a great impact on the academic and market researchers; it will help many students who are on a budget to overcome a serious challenge and reach the target population for their study as well as companies and business owners.

Mit ein bisschen Aufwand kommt man im Ranking schnell nach oben und wird dann durch viele Teilnahmen belohnt. Auch der Support der Seite war einwandfrei. I used SurveyCircle to recruit participants for my academic study, and the experience has been excellent. The platform is user-friendly, and the support from Jonas (the founder) was both professional and sincere. After upgrading my slot, my survey was promoted quickly on their social media, which helped increase visibility and participant numbers. Great platform to generate and exchange participants for research surveys. Big pool of available surveys with all important information on one page before starting. SurveyCircle is also free for up to 100 participants and quite cheap afterwards for additional slots. They have helped me big time with my master thesis. Would definitely recommend!

Overall, I had a really good experience and found SurveyCircle very helpful. Some things to be aware of if you're thinking about using it: (1) there are things you can do that will have a significant impact on how many survey responses you get (e.g. some of the biggest ones are that you do need to take a lot of other people's surveys and get a lot of points before you start getting a lot of responses coming in, and also if your survey's too long, it's likely to get less responses); and (2) you will get some responses where people clearly answered very hastily and didn't fill it out properly (e.g. straight-lining scales in your survey), so you should probably have clear-cut criteria ready to use to exclude certain survey responses for when people have clearly just sped through it without answering it properly, which would screw up the validity of your study if you have enough of those responses in there. So what I would say is that if you're aware of some of the limitations and challenges of SurveyCircle and willing to navigate those, it is worth using for many types of survey and can be a very useful tool. Just go in with your eyes wide open and try to use a strategy to get the most out of it. Also, please, please, please, when you're answering other people's surveys to get points so your survey can get more responses, take the time to do it properly. DON'T just rush through it and not answer properly. Answer it how you'd want people to answer yours. I was saddened by how common it is for people to just rush through the survey in like 2 minutes and not even answer things properly (e.g. straight-lining and stuff like that). Don't be one of those people. If everyone did it like that, the platform would have no usefulness whatsoever. So just answer people's surveys properly.
