I found SurveyCircle very easy and intuitive to use. The website is well structured, simple to navigate, and the instructions are clear at every stage, which made the whole process feel straightforward rather than overwhelming. I was able to collect around 90% of my survey responses through the platform, which was incredibly helpful for my research. I would definitely recommend SurveyCircle to other students and researchers looking for an efficient and supportive way to recruit participants.

Great platform for collecting data and also great support at all times! I got the majority of my data (n=178) in two weeks using SurveyCircle by being ranked under the top 20 and the survey was 10-12 minutes. I think it is probably harder to get participants with surveys that take more time to finish. It was also helpful to participate in other surveys to get "inspiration" for my own survey. I can recommend to get family and friends to support in order to get more points. I think as some participants only want to collect a lot of points in a short time, the data quality should be tested (eg with test question).

A great tool for researchers I am so grateful that SurveyCircle exists. I didn't want to rely on friends and social media for participants and SurveyCircle is awesome. It's easy to post a survey, easy to use and easy to earn points to raise your own survey. The added benefit is that completing other surveys is a great way of learning how to (or not to) put together a good survey experience.

Overall, I had a really good experience and found SurveyCircle very helpful. Some things to be aware of if you're thinking about using it: (1) there are things you can do that will have a significant impact on how many survey responses you get (e.g. some of the biggest ones are that you do need to take a lot of other people's surveys and get a lot of points before you start getting a lot of responses coming in, and also if your survey's too long, it's likely to get less responses); and (2) you will get some responses where people clearly answered very hastily and didn't fill it out properly (e.g. straight-lining scales in your survey), so you should probably have clear-cut criteria ready to use to exclude certain survey responses for when people have clearly just sped through it without answering it properly, which would screw up the validity of your study if you have enough of those responses in there. So what I would say is that if you're aware of some of the limitations and challenges of SurveyCircle and willing to navigate those, it is worth using for many types of survey and can be a very useful tool. Just go in with your eyes wide open and try to use a strategy to get the most out of it. Also, please, please, please, when you're answering other people's surveys to get points so your survey can get more responses, take the time to do it properly. DON'T just rush through it and not answer properly. Answer it how you'd want people to answer yours. I was saddened by how common it is for people to just rush through the survey in like 2 minutes and not even answer things properly (e.g. straight-lining and stuff like that). Don't be one of those people. If everyone did it like that, the platform would have no usefulness whatsoever. So just answer people's surveys properly.

SurveyCircle has been a life saver for me. I am glad I stumbled upon it. I had been sending out emails to various different groups on LinkedIn and Facebook on my own for 2 months. Absolutely no one responded. Of course there are so many scams out there, I can’t blame them. Once I joined SurveyCircle and participated by taking others’ that I was qualified for, I FINALLY started getting participation. As you participate in surveys, your own starts moving in the rankings. it is so exciting and exhilarating. As you move up in the rankings, you get the opportunity to have your survey posted officially on Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and LinkedIn…and all those social networking sites, many of which I never thought about joining. I don’t want to date myself, but……SurveyCircle is da bomb!! JLH
