I can highly recommend the platform Survey Circle for academic surveys. Jonas Johé and his team have developed a modern and fair solution that allows you to reliably find participants for your academic work—whether it’s for a bachelor's, master's thesis, or doctoral thesis. Thanks to Survey Circle, I was able to gather enough participants for my doctoral research in a short amount of time, significantly accelerating my research process. The principle is simple: you participate in the academic surveys of other researchers on Survey Circle, earn points, and thereby rank your own survey higher. Great Service. I collected a medium sized sample for a study on romantic relationships. Since my eligibility criteria were rather restrictive, I did not expect to get that many participants from SC. It worked out really well regardless and the quality of the data was better than that of data collected through Facebook (i.e. the ratio of complete vs. incomplete answers was twice as large). Slight drawback will probably be the very selective sample you get from using research exchange platforms. But considering the selection bias associated with recruiting online, academics (or so-called WEIRD people) are more likely to respond to free online studies anyway. Regardless, a quick way to get data of decent quality. So overall, I can only give out a straight-forward recommendation.

Works perfectly as a way to procrastinate writing your thesis while still feeling productive, too. ;) The support is friendly and helpful. I gained 100 participants for free for my Bachelor and Master Thesis combined. 100% recommend to give it a try.

SurveyCircle has been a massive help during my research. The point based system ensures fair participation and offers a large number of participants if you are willing to put in the work. Safety measures are also set in place to ensure quality responses. Highly recommended. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that direct emails tend to take a while to get a response, however contact through the website itself is fast.
