Time consuming, but absolutely worth it Okay, it takes hours and days to collect enough points to get to the top of the rankings. But I learned a lot about how other students design surveys and I would say that I was able to improve my own surveys considerably. And I also gained interesting insights into other topics and research. I got enough participants for my own two surveys that I would definitely use it again. Safety measures are also set in place to ensure quality responses. Highly recommended. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that direct emails tend to take a while to get a response, however contact through the website itself is fast.

But that’s something you can work around with good design. Great platform for collecting data and also great support at all times! I got the majority of my data (n=178) in two weeks using SurveyCircle by being ranked under the top 20 and the survey was 10-12 minutes. I think it is probably harder to get participants with surveys that take more time to finish. It was also helpful to participate in other surveys to get "inspiration" for my own survey. I can recommend to get family and friends to support in order to get more points. I think as some participants only want to collect a lot of points in a short time, the data quality should be tested (eg with test question).

Great Service. I collected a medium sized sample for a study on romantic relationships. Since my eligibility criteria were rather restrictive, I did not expect to get that many participants from SC. It worked out really well regardless and the quality of the data was better than that of data collected through Facebook (i.e. the ratio of complete vs. incomplete answers was twice as large). Slight drawback will probably be the very selective sample you get from using research exchange platforms. But considering the selection bias associated with recruiting online, academics (or so-called WEIRD people) are more likely to respond to free online studies anyway. Regardless, a quick way to get data of decent quality. So overall, I can only give out a straight-forward recommendation.

Super practical platform for surveys! SurveyCircle enabled me to reach the number of participants I needed for my survey. It is very easy to use and helpful. What particularly impressed me was the support! I was able to reach someone on the phone every time and all my questions were answered in detail and very helpfully. You can really tell that there are people behind it who put their heart into working on this platform for the students. Always happy to come back!

The concept that SurveyCircle relies on is a great one - now, for my master's thesis I found: - 180 participants - who've passed all attention checks (mostly only motivated & honest participants on the platform) - in 3 weeks - with a super friendly support team that also helps you along the way (you get extra slots, if you can't use some data, because of participants who didn't pass the attention checks). I highly recommend this platform!
