Overall, I had a really good experience and found SurveyCircle very helpful. Some things to be aware of if you're thinking about using it: (1) there are things you can do that will have a significant impact on how many survey responses you get (e.g. some of the biggest ones are that you do need to take a lot of other people's surveys and get a lot of points before you start getting a lot of responses coming in, and also if your survey's too long, it's likely to get less responses); and (2) you will get some responses where people clearly answered very hastily and didn't fill it out properly (e.g. straight-lining scales in your survey), so you should probably have clear-cut criteria ready to use to exclude certain survey responses for when people have clearly just sped through it without answering it properly, which would screw up the validity of your study if you have enough of those responses in there. So what I would say is that if you're aware of some of the limitations and challenges of SurveyCircle and willing to navigate those, it is worth using for many types of survey and can be a very useful tool. Just go in with your eyes wide open and try to use a strategy to get the most out of it. Also, please, please, please, when you're answering other people's surveys to get points so your survey can get more responses, take the time to do it properly. DON'T just rush through it and not answer properly. Answer it how you'd want people to answer yours. I was saddened by how common it is for people to just rush through the survey in like 2 minutes and not even answer things properly (e.g. straight-lining and stuff like that). Don't be one of those people. If everyone did it like that, the platform would have no usefulness whatsoever. So just answer people's surveys properly.

Mit ein bisschen Aufwand kommt man im Ranking schnell nach oben und wird dann durch viele Teilnahmen belohnt. Auch der Support der Seite war einwandfrei. Innerhalb kurzer Zeit habe ich bereits Feedback bekommen, sofern ich mal eine Nachfrage hatte.

SurveyCircle is a fantastic tool for students and researchers looking to gather survey respondents without relying on a large personal network or expensive panels. While the website might seem a bit outdated and text-heavy at first glance, it’s easy to use and serves its purpose well. You might notice that longer or denser questionnaires don’t always perform as well. Since many users are trying to earn points quickly, shorter and more engaging surveys tend to get better results. But that’s something you can work around with good design. Once you’ve earned enough points, the process becomes much more efficient and less time-consuming than trying to recruit through Facebook groups or other manual methods. Best of all, the team behind SurveyCircle is incredibly supportive, and responsive. If you're looking for a low-cost, student-friendly way to get high-quality responses, SurveyCircle is absolutely worth it.

Absolutely no one responded. Of course there are so many scams out there, I can’t blame them. Once I joined SurveyCircle and participated by taking others’ that I was qualified for, I FINALLY started getting participation. As you participate in surveys, your own starts moving in the rankings. it is so exciting and exhilarating. As you move up in the rankings, you get the opportunity to have your survey posted officially on Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and LinkedIn…and all those social networking sites, many of which I never thought about joining. Survey Circle has been the best tool to share my survey and recruit participants for my doctoral research where it helped me to collect most of the responses on a very low budget. It is trustworthy, reliable, valid, easy, accurate, transparent, with a super responsive team. However, it is recommeneded that Survey Circle extend its capacity and representation in the middle east and Arab countries as I believe it will have a great impact on the academic and market researchers; it will help many students who are on a budget to overcome a serious challenge and reach the target population for their study as well as companies and business owners.

Legitimate Honestly, really helpful and gave many options to have a greater outreach. To get the necessary respondents, it did take a while, for me personally I filled out around 90 surveys.

SurveyCircle is an excellent tool that's easy to use. I wanted to top up my participant numbers and I got good quality responses and a larger number of responses than I expected. I've enjoyed completing other people's surveys and contributing to research through mutual support. The customer service is very good and the marketing support to raise awareness of your survey is an added bonus.
