SurveyCircle is an outstanding platform for students seeking an efficient, cost-effective way to gather survey data. It has proven to be an invaluable resource in my master's thesis project. Thanks to SurveyCircle I gathered more than 200 responses for my survey. SurveyCircle is an excellent tool that's easy to use. I wanted to top up my participant numbers and I got good quality responses and a larger number of responses than I expected. I've enjoyed completing other people's surveys and contributing to research through mutual support. The customer service is very good and the marketing support to raise awareness of your survey is an added bonus.

A great tool for researchers I am so grateful that SurveyCircle exists. I didn't want to rely on friends and social media for participants and SurveyCircle is awesome. It's easy to post a survey, easy to use and easy to earn points to raise your own survey. The added benefit is that completing other surveys is a great way of learning how to (or not to) put together a good survey experience.

Overall, I had a really good experience and found SurveyCircle very helpful. Some things to be aware of if you're thinking about using it: (1) there are things you can do that will have a significant impact on how many survey responses you get (e.g. some of the biggest ones are that you do need to take a lot of other people's surveys and get a lot of points before you start getting a lot of responses coming in, and also if your survey's too long, it's likely to get less responses); and (2) you will get some responses where people clearly answered very hastily and didn't fill it out properly (e.g. straight-lining scales in your survey), so you should probably have clear-cut criteria ready to use to exclude certain survey responses for when people have clearly just sped through it without answering it properly, which would screw up the validity of your study if you have enough of those responses in there. So what I would say is that if you're aware of some of the limitations and challenges of SurveyCircle and willing to navigate those, it is worth using for many types of survey and can be a very useful tool. Just go in with your eyes wide open and try to use a strategy to get the most out of it. Also, please, please, please, when you're answering other people's surveys to get points so your survey can get more responses, take the time to do it properly. DON'T just rush through it and not answer properly. Answer it how you'd want people to answer yours. I was saddened by how common it is for people to just rush through the survey in like 2 minutes and not even answer things properly (e.g. straight-lining and stuff like that). Don't be one of those people. If everyone did it like that, the platform would have no usefulness whatsoever. So just answer people's surveys properly.

In my opinion, the likelihood of poor-quality data does increase, but even after filtering out a lot of data points, I still benefited significantly from SurveyCircle.

SurveyCircle has been a life saver for me. I am glad I stumbled upon it. I had been sending out emails to various different groups on LinkedIn and Facebook on my own for 2 months. Absolutely no one responded. Of course there are so many scams out there, I can’t blame them. Once I joined SurveyCircle and participated by taking others’ that I was qualified for, I FINALLY started getting participation. As you participate in surveys, your own starts moving in the rankings. it is so exciting and exhilarating. As you move up in the rankings, you get the opportunity to have your survey posted officially on Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and LinkedIn…and all those social networking sites, many of which I never thought about joining. Legitimate Honestly, really helpful and gave many options to have a greater outreach. To get the necessary respondents, it did take a while, for me personally I filled out around 90 surveys.
